Rejane Garcia

Rejane is a dance artist working extensively in Ballet and Contemporary dance. She graduated in classical ballet at the renowned Escola de Danca Maria Olenewa and London Studio Centre where she was awarded a scholarship.

Since then, she has performed in the U.K, Brazil , Greece , Cuba and had the opportunity to work with many choreographers such as Wayne Sleep, Laura Alonso, Cathy Martson, Mark Baldwin, Everaldo Pereira and Dora Frankel amongst others. Her classical repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Paquita, Don Quixote, Diana and Acteon, Pas de trois from Swan Lake , to name a few. She is very passionate with her teaching and recently for disabled people of all ages. She is involved in promoting dance for the private sector as well as the community sector with projects supported by Tower Hamlets Council and Surrey Arts.

Rejane recently won a special Award from Tower Hamlet Council for her educational work through dance. She was also nominated as a committee member of Surrey Dance Collective.
