Libby Gwyther - Classroom Assistant
Born in Lincolnshire, Libby Gwyther studied Music at Oxford University before being awarded a scholarship to study Saxophone Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. Having completed her studies with distinction, Libby currently enjoys the varied lifestyle of a freelance musician, performing, recording, transcribing, arranging and teaching music throughout the UK and abroad.
Libby’s lifelong love of dance began at the Kimberley Performing Arts Center (formerly Kimberley School of Dance) at the age of 4, where she studied ballet, tap, modern and Greek. On moving to West London, she was delighted to discover high-quality, fun and friendly classes at Ballet4Life. Having previously enjoyed work as a choreographer for musical productions and as the musician in residence at a dance school, Libby was very pleased to be asked to be a Classroom Assistant for Ballet4Life.
Libby has trained with us for many years as a dancer and we were delighted that she has time to be able to fulfil our request of being a Beginner Ballet Course Classroom Assistant. Her warm personality puts the clients at ease whilst her clean ballet technique is a lovely guide for the adult beginners.
