Ana hails from Spain and has a strong background in dance, fitness, and social work education. She first started training at the age of 10 in Saragossa and had the privilege to work with Victor Jimenez, Director of La Mov Dance Company during her 9 years of study. She then attended the esteemed Conservatory of Dance in Valencia and studied Contemporary Dance. After Valencia, in Rome under full scholarship, she worked with Mauro Astolfi. Ana is also a qualified Dance, Leisure Activity, and Zumba® instructor. She has been a volunteer at our Move intoWellbeing® Saturday classes in Autumn 2016.
We were very pleased to welcome Ana to our roster in January 2017. She is leading our new innovative and effective Children’s Multi-Lingual Creative Dance Programme on Wednesday mornings. This class new class uses movement and expression in parallel to the sounds of different languages. Ana uses creative dance to develop skills such as balance, coordination, musicality, and self-expression.The children love the class and it is one of its kind in West London! Ana is also DBS checked and holds Public Liability Insurance.
